About Me
I was born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. My father is a mechanic and aeronautical enginner. My brother and I grew up among R/C models and experimental airplanes, built in Federal University of Minas Gerais. These early experiences cemented our interest in all aircraft as kids, particularly experimental aircraft, and my ultimate desire to build models. By other hand, my brother went to a much more challeging pathway, that lead him to build world record speed breaking experimental airplanes.
Since eight years old I kept my interest in build models, mainly from WWII in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 scales. In the 80´s and 90´s we didn´t talk so much about expensive aftermarket acessories for the kits, by the contrary, tube glue, household paints, automotive putty, nail sandingsticks, nail pliers where the norm in those days, because of this I consider myself an old school plasticmodeler. By combining the past and present I´m able to achieve a certain level of artistry.
